just a quick note to everyone who has been inquiring, the recording sessions for the black chapter full length are in full swing. the majority of the project is being done at four seasons media productions (that's right, the same studio nelly records at) in beautiful saint louis, mo. bryan loss has cut all ties with civilization and will be taking on the task of engineering, and will also be lending a major hand on drums and percussion. after checking out electrical audio studios in chicago, we have decided to also do some songs with steve albini (famous for his work with mogwai, labradford, low, nirvana, slint, milemarker, the owls, dirty three, gastr del sol, a minor forest, bedhead, shellac, guided by voices, jawbreaker, tortoise, will oldham, helmet, melt banana, big black, the new year...). those songs will more than likely appear on an ep following the release of the full length. drop by www.chulka.com for any further updates.
