British artist CHARLSON XIMENES (pronouced she-men-es) was born in Brazil. He started playing the clarinet and the saxophone at the age of nine, and by the age of 14 he was already playing both the saxophone and the guitar professionally.
At 18 he recorded his first album with Brazilian experimental band FLYING SQUAD (Esquadrilha da Fumaca), and went on to play with several Brazilian and South American artists. He moved to Europe in 1986 and formed Rock group DEJA VU in London.
After making two records with the band he started co-producing and recording with several artists, as well as performing live. For his debut solo album he teamed up with DEJA VU band-mate DAVID ETHERIDGE, and the result of the collaboration is the CD 'COLLISION COURSE'.
