I am primarily interested in becomming a vessel, connecting to the Divine source of music--God, the Holy Spirit, whatever you choose to call it--and just letting the music flow through me.
When this process is successful, the muisc will connnect to kindred spirits. When it is not successful, it's because the ego of the players are engaged--and we just go back and try to empty our minds of all desires and JUST PLAY.
We're talking about totally free improvistaion here. It may sound very wierd to some, and like music from On High to others. My attempt is not to impress anyone, but rather just to be...
This music is developing, as I search out and find other like-minded artists to collaborate with, I have no doubt that it will become closer and closer to the ideal of an egoless, joyful connection with the Divine source of all music and creativity.
