Wexler & Bush was formed in January of 2002 when vocalist Stan Bush and songwriter Steven Wexler released a single to European country radio. That song
YOUR SMILE posted a #1 rating on 103.1 in Belgium. It subsequently went into rotation on over 40 stations in eight countries, including
90.2 FM & 107.9 FM in the Netherlands, 88.8 FM & 106 FM in Italy, 98.6 FM in Germany, 92.8 FM in France, and BBC Radio & Birch Radio in the UK.
Stan Bush won an Emmy in 1997 and was the vocalist for the national Coors and Toyota commercials. Steven Wexler has the distinction of
being the cousin of musical legend Al Jolson. Their studio band includes
Doan Perry, longtime drummer for Jethro Tull, Rocket Ritchotte, former guitarist for Cher, and
Laura Creamer, former backup vocalist for Glen Frey. The current single, MISSING YOU STILL, is having similar
success. The March 2002 issue of Country Music Roundup, Britain's preeminent trade journal, described
the Wexler & Bush sound as "radio friendly power ballads featuring strong vocals and fine songwriting". Their 11 song debut album will be available
on MP3.com beginning February 2003.
