	They say songs are always written about yourself regardless of what "person" the lyrics are written in. Well, I guess this would be one. Originally this song was conceptualized with just electric guitars. But once we started recording, Johnny (producer) and I figured that an acoustic/electric dynamic worked really well for the song. This recording is actually version 2.0. Initially we recorded it with a different drum arrangement. Later we scratched the whole drum track and Pearl (drums) played a whole new kick-ass take. I added in the slide guitar last minute. Good thing I brought it in that day because I wasn't thrilled at the idea of breaking beer bottles for a bottleneck to do the job.
