NEW WORLD
FUSION
...an
ambient blend of world, folk and jazz.
Music to Move your Mind & Soothe your Spirit.

A
Message from Barbara Lewis:
"I call
my musical style, "New World Fusion"....a unique blend of World, Folk and
Jazz. Sometimes my songs lean a little more on the Jazz style. Others are
more exotic sounding and "otherworldly."
People
tell me that the music makes them feel good - calmer, uplifted. That is what
I hope to hear. My goal is to take my listeners on a powerful musical journey
that is both soothing and rejuvenating.
Many
of the musicians on my recordings play acoustic instruments. I often use synthesizers
and electronic instruments as well. The arrangement depends on what the lyrics
or the story requires.
I
hope you enjoy my music. Come back soon! "

A haunting, bluesy song that gradually draws the listener in to a mesmerizing world of sound and ideas. The lyrics talk about ways to reclaim power in our lives. Along with the emotive vocals of Barbara Lewis, hear the wonderful keyboard stylings of John Deley (piano and synth); the atmospheric guitar passages by Peter Calo (acoustic and electric); and the soaring soprano sax solo by Aaron Heick. |
