05/08/03 October Special is no more. After a little over a year of being together, playing shows almost every weekend from anywhere from Wisconsin to Indiana, we decided to pull the cord from the wall and break up. Musically, we were all going in different directions and dragging the band on was only damaging the music we were creating. Craig will moving out to California this summer and I can garentee he will be starting some hot shit out there. Eric and myself have joined up with Sunday Flood, another Fox Valley band that we were great friends with. We would like to thank every person who came to our shows, bought out merchandise, listened to our records, talked to us, let us sleep on your floor, let us drink your beer, let us eat your food, let us borrow equipment, talked shit about us only to get more people to listen to our tunes and helped us get where we were. If it wasn't for amount of friends we have and the Fox Valley music scene, October Special never would of achieved what we did. For that, we can't thank you all enough. Keep checking back here for more news on what's going on with band. New mp3's are coming from demos we have stored away and possibly from some more material we might lay down in my studio. Also another record may be released, so keep an eye. Thank you to everybody again.
