Last to Die was a hardcore metal band from the South Jersey shore.
With fills that would make your grandmother take up the air guitar, breakdowns that are larger than the members of the band, and enough tactful blast beats to cause ear hemorrhage, Last To Die delivers an interesting and original sound far from the generic "chug-chug-whee-whee" metalcore of today.
Last To Die broke up in July of 2002, but be on the lookout for THE HORIZON'S END: a new metal outfit picking up where Last To Die left off featuring four ex-members of the band. They are due to be playing shows and recording a demo by April of 2003.
