Zonzee is a fusion experience that only those who have had can describe. To attend a Zonzee show is to be presented with a panorama of styles that mirror the spectrum of human emotion. Their influences range from Weather Report and Tribal Tech, John McLoughlin and Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea, Steve Coleman, Allan Holdsworth. Rush, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Moroccan music. Zonzee delves into different types of rhythm than just 4/4, preferring odd time.

The title cut of the album, named for two reasons: One, because it's written in odd time, and two because if you want to kill a fly, you have to kill the fly in the off beat of five. This tune reminds some of Alan Holsworth. |

A jazz harmony based on the Moroccan folktale of a frog hitchhiking on the back of a turtle. With a 6/8 Moroccan groove, the song's Middle Eastern ambience and jazz combination makes for a true original.
