This song was written in November of 1990.
Before Operation Desert Shield became Operation Desert Storm. I naively thought a song could stop a war. Yeah right. I really didn't like Ronald Regan or the Bush Administration. I thought they where corperate geasers protecting the interest of big oil companies. What do I know?
Saddam Hussein is undeniably an evil bastard. If he's gone good ridance.
I'm not pushing this issue anymore, because I'm real tired of it and I'm moving on.
Maybe you should too. The following is my original flipant comments written prior to the current actions in Iraq.
Written prior to the bombing of Bagdad, (Operation Desert Storm). This song features reggae rhythm with R&B / militarific flavoring.
Now G.W. wants to carry on the family feud. I think the two of them should meet on MTV's "Celbrity Death Match". I don't know if this would settle the fate of the free world, or make it safe for democracy, but it might make good TV? Personally, I think G.W. could take that bloated pig by the third round.
Peace. |
