The Last Minute Jam was a weekly institution at J.C.Dobb's on South St. in Philadelphia! Musicians filled the bar on South St. w/sounds of free-spirit improvisational music from 1986 till it's closing in 1996! The atmosphere of these free-form Jam sessions rose to legendary fame among the musical community & attracted such artists as: Psychedelic Furs, Robert Plant & band, Joe Zawinul's band, Ace Frehley ( Kiss ) & Nirvana. All of these people have sat in w/ the Last Minute Jam Band! In keeping w/ spirit of L.M. Jam , this CD was produced by: George Manney who preserved the flavor of a "Live" jam session. George called on some of the "Best of Philly" talent to record this benifit CD: Soul Survivors, Eltro, Tommy Conwell, Stewkey, Ben Arnold, Mike Stella, Nancy Falkow, Marty Ahearn, Su Teears, Rocco Notte, Lauren Hart, Marvis Frazier, John Train & the Last Min.Jam Band.
