RUBYKHAN is a three piece, vocally driven, alternative rock band from New York. Guitarist, Joe Rodriguez sings with soulful power paired with Bassist, Sean Byrne's passionate wide vocal range. Sean and Joe's vocal styles, although very different, sound awesome together. This is where RUBYKHAN's power and soul lie. Together they make a formidable duo, but it doesn't end there. John LaSalle rounds out the trio with solid drumming and occasional comments.

Out of the ashes of another original band, Joe and John found Sean and formed RUBYKHAN. These three musicians hit it off from the start and have been close ever since.

Their stage show is a spectacle of high energy and emotional performance that draws an audience in. The music, as described by Dean Sternberg of Rhythm and News Magazine, is "a melodic, hard rock sound that leans in an alternative direction, but with guitars and bass that borrow more from Hendrix and Rush than Nirvana, adding a classic rock vibe to the music."
