6/10/02: We're still here, just catching up a bit. Dean's been a fucking steamroller, releasing an album and an EP as The Somaboy (see links page), flattening all in his wake, and Adam's in progress working on his new project Sun-bleached. As far as the Arcadians go, the 10" will not be a split with Map of Tulsa, as they have broken up. Mike O'Connor from said band has joined forces with My Youth in Arcadia, and the 10" will be released very very soon. Write us. A track from it will be up soon.
5/30/02: Put up some photos
of the show today. Thanks Steven!
Also, Richard and Matt have had the pleasure of encountering possibly the shittiest
band ever, local Petaluma jocks Unominame. As if being rejected from yet another
shitty band, Headboard, wasn't enough, these guys play terrible rap metal. These
homophobic, sexist jock frat boys need to stop playing fucking bullshit music and
get back to sucking off MTV.

I had nothing but a slim-chance under the lunar sky. There was a pause of electricity in the face of the moon's luminescence. A girl could only hold so close and my jawline softened. I cast the real shadow on the perfectly crushed sand that lay across the high hidden floor of the whitened tower. I sailed on the windows. A year of rain; Settle in the dark of midnight and sheets. Be my friend, sleeping sea. |
