This song was based on my questionable interpretation of the "Giant's Glove", a story from Norse mythology. I came across it reading bedtime stories. The song ends with Thor falling pray to trickery yet marching off in peace with his enemies to the mountains of Uutgaard, City of Giants.
Forget the story, though, this song is more about musical adventure.

Here is an odd one. I have been beating around this song for a while, honing it down alone in my back stairway. Two music styles I was lightly taking in at the time (solo mountain banjo and Native American chant) both crept into this song. I collaged my solo violin snippets together with faint singing.. |
