when I cannot escape
from this black hole of pain
and I have given up
the chance to carry on
you're there to reassure me
and you're there to guide me
thank you for having planted
potential deep inside me
when I cannot move on
your words seek to reassure me
and I am struck by the
power of a simple handshake hello, goodbye
yeah, we're so far apart
but i refuse to let this
get to me because your words
are overpowering
I'll live each day as if it were my first.

the instrumental story about the opression of the refrigerator people. Okay....not really. But it's a long-ass moody ballad using acoustic guitar. The last track me and jim will be writing together for a long time. |

Starting off a little on the gothic/industrial gloomy side of the spectrum, it progresses to a positive flow of emotion. Jim plays guitars on the track, and REALLY adds to the atmosphere. This was the first (serious) song we did together, and it has all the elements of Bridges Between making a smooth crossover to traditional instruments. |

A track of almost epic proportions, vocal driven (for me at least), and catchy as hell. Has both the O.D.E. style vocals and a newer clean style as well (which quite honestly could use some work....) |
