Leech Woman have been destroying musical boundaries since their incarnation. Never following
the obvious route through the industrial underground, picking up influences as
diverse as Foetus, Test Dept, Neurosis and Discharge. Electronic beats and tribal
rhythms merge under a barbed wire bass and shredding guitar producing a dark and
sinister back drop for the snarling vocal attack. Always on the edge and never
fitting neatly into any scene. This unorthodox quartet have graced the same bills
as Foetus, Unsane, Godflesh, Ultraviolence, Cubanate and Die Krupps amongst many
others.
On stage the band is made up of P. Rise (guitar, vocals and live drums), Rog (metal
percussion) and Alex B. (bass and vocals), with Raye completing the line-up behind
the scenes with live sound, sampling and programming. amongst many others.
