This song is a ballad with three main sections. The verse is slow and melodic with subtle bass runs reacting with the vocal lines. The bridge is very dance orientated rhytmically but the chords stay the same as in the verse. The chorus is a catchy simple three chord riff which is carried through to the end of the song. Overall it flows very well considering each section is very different. |

The song starts very calmly with a tragic and reflective mood to it. This builds to a more aggressive section which becomes the bulk of the song. This has a slightly funk feel to it because of the accented off beats on the guitar and drums. The bassline was arranged to form an on-going crescendo throughout the song to help it gain momentum. The song ends with music similar to the intro and has returned to the reflective feel it started with. |
