A preview clip for Jerald and Associates, a 15 minute audio pitch of a show idea to making fun of generic NBC sitcoms. It's about a cast who works at a law firm. And, as like the rest of the sitcoms go, there's not much more to the show than the location.
The cast:
Jerald: The generic star of the show. He has no personality at all. And that's all there is for him here.
Mr. Puppet-head: Puppet who lives in Jerald's fireplace.
Booker: The generic dumb guy. His most common quote is “Don't ask me. I don't know.” And like the rest of the shows go the only thing he does is spit out stupid lines to fill his personality.
Shirley: Is the chick for the show. She’s just there ‘cause she’s got big breasts that she always knocks things over with and files sexual harassment suits.
Ray: Is the incompetent guy. He’s always making innuendoes; “I’m gonna go over there and butter that guy’s bread. No, I mean with real butter!” He also refers to the cast member you never get to see, his girlfriend, Delia.
Delia: Is very stupid. She’ll just spin around in a circle for hours if you tell her to goto work. And all ray will do is say “Delia, you’ve been spinning around for hours like that. Do something else. Spin the other way.” “O.K.”
Clarence: Is the guy that just comes in now and then to pick on Jerald. He’ll come by and say something like “Hey, Jerald. Guess what I did all day?” “What?” “Nothing! Aha! HA! HA!”
The New Guy: Is just known as “The New guy.” He never says anything about who he is or even what his job is. They don’t even know if he works there.
Mr. Bostlow: He’s the typical pain in the arse boss. He’ll hire and fire right on the same spot and sentence. He’ll even fire himself,.. I think.
Edmond: is the boss’ son. He’s also the one who annoys everyone around the office. “High ya guys. I’ve been with this law firm before it even opened.”
