I am Al Novak, a little unknown bass player from
the Philadelphia area. I have studied bass with
Gary Peacock, Miroslav Vitous, Jerry Bergonzi,
Ralph Towner, Dave Leibman, Eberhard Weber and a
host of others (All from records that is).
I actually like music and like doing it for a
living. I don't know how I made this music, but
it was all me. I went out to the woods one day
a metal pole and a wood putty knife, and recorded
these songs. I DID NOT compose anything.
All of it was improvised. I also made it a rule
not to spend more than a few hours on any one
song. Most of them were made to get better with
MIDI music. There, that's it! Listen and try not
to vomit.
