The "OUT THA TRUNK" compilation has over a dozen artist,
with 14 tracks but there are only two principals. John Harrison,and Tyrod Sampson. Two songs on this compilation, "My Issue" and
"Prisoner 023," are collaboration of the two, and are a blend of Tyrod (TY)
Sampson's seasoned hiphop vocals and John (The Czar)Harrisons smooth R&B
vocals reminiscent of Nate Dog, put to the Beats of Jamiel Hassan (one of the
top musical producers in Northern California who has gone on to another label). There is another track "In Due
Time" in which TY showcases his rap vocals as a single. And then there is
another real treat,"O Hoppin" in which Jamiel's group, The Fugitives sets the
house on fire. The compilation has a combination of other artist that supply
a bit of Gangsta Hiphop.
We are all dedicated to cleaning up the hiphop industry also. Currently there
is no "Artist Development" and where the record industry is saving money that way,
they are at the same time depriving the public of well groomed, tutored and
professional artist that will conform and adhere to the uniformed practices and discipline of the
industry. Replacing them with non professionals that will do anything including using ill gotten gains to market themselves up to the visibility the labels demand for the record deal, to selling
CDs for a low price that will eventually train the public to expect these prices thus driving the industry downward, to even purchasing their own units to drive up the sound scan on their product. We are against all of the above and feel it will eventually kill the industry.

John Harrison AKA:THE CZAR is from Dayton Ohio and has resided for most of
his life in the San Francisco Bay area as do all the other artist on this
compilation."I was raised on funk and the Motown sound and I think a lot of
the hip-hop has gone to far off to the left and to street political and has
gotten away from entertainment.The object of entertainment is for the
listener to feel good when its over".
TY AKA:Tyrod Sampson,also a native of the Bay Area
is out to issue in a new era with his lyrics.
"The gangsta thing has been done to death. back when NWA
came with it, it was fresh and new. Now its been done.
Oh I need a hard-core beat but we don't need to shot a gut 40 times and then
wake him up to shoot him again".
