The Timmins Youth Singers, was founded in 1978 by Rosanne Simunovic. Her ability to create and implement innovative programming opportunities has attracted numerous artists of exception to perform with the Timmins Youth Singers.
The Timmins Youth Singers have had the distinction of performing with world class artists, including internationally acclaimed classical stars Michael Schade, Tenor, Daniel Taylor, Counter-Tenor and cabaret star, Patricia O'Callaghan, a former TYS member and voice student of Rosanne Simunovic for many years.
Musical theatre and pop stars have also created memorable performances with the Timmins Youth Singers, including Phantom Of The Opera stars Paul Massel and Gregory Cross, Cats stars Greg Bond and Larry Herbert, Les Miserables star Michael Burgess and Stratford and Shaw Festival star, Karen Skidmore and world class a cappella pop artists, "The Essentials".
The TYS have recorded three very successful CDS: I Remember December in 1994, A Christmas Legacy in 1999 and Scenes From A Dream in 2000.
