This Artist /Songwriter and Entrepreneur hails from The Bronx NY and has arrived on the scene in a rain of fire. Born Richard Torres and raised by a single mother, This gentleman has overcome much adversity to become the one now known as R.P.......a.k.a. The Analist.
He is a product of the NYC Catholic School System and attended Pace University. He has always been inspired by music as well as basketball. He has won many awards and trophies in the sport and is now trying to have the same success with his music. The Analist started his musical journey as a DJ in the mid 80’s. As he puts it “I fell in love with the beats and rhythms of Hip-Hop!”
Later on he had to support himself and that meant doing it on the streets. After getting into scrapes he finally got determined to get into what he loves most......his Music!!!
He started to use his lyrical skills after being persuaded by friends and has now been faithful to his craft for over 10 years. His style was so volatile at the start that one of his closest friends gave him the name Rich Potent.....R.P.
This artist has gone the full gambit and fully embodies what you hear in his lyrics. He is truly one to watch!!!!!!!
