J.J. is an accomplished New York City musician/composer. Currently writing and producing for new artists, TV and film as well as for his forth coming CD, Adventura, a percussive ambient work featuring some of N.Y.'s finest musicians, including Anthony Jackson-bass, Amanda Homi-vocals, Graham Hawthorne and Norberto Goldberg-percussion and McGeehan on guitars and the main force of imagination and creativity.

With a Bachelors Degree in classical guitar from the pretigios Manhatten School of Music, under the world renowned Manuel; Barrueco, McGeehan quickly spread out into other musical idioms writing over 200 songs, 15 chamber pieces and over 50 guitar solos. Some of witch appear on his Soup Of Eons CD, featuring World Premier classic guitar performances. Scores are available.

Other works are featured with alternative bands such as Giant Metal Insects, on the CBGB label, Psyco Beach, The Holy Ghost and songs co-written with Michael Lawrence of the LA famed band White Girl, currently being performed and recorded for a soon to be released CD.

J.J. has played/toured and/or recorded with Harry Belafonte, Broadway shows: Tommy, Joseph, Grease, StarlightExpress and Dream Girls.

McGeehan works out of his own Upper West Side production facility. Using Studio Vision sequencing software, Finale Music Notation, Roland and Kurzwiel samplers and modules, and TASCAM DA88 digital recorders which make the basis of a serious MIDI studio capable of handling any sound medium.
