With original songs that range from introspective pieces, to fun melodic pop songs, to heavy hitting rock 'n' roll, these women are not your average chick band. Sounding like the bastard child of The Breeders and PJ Harvey with a dash of angelic vocal harmonies, Viva la Venus! is sure to please. Their energetic live show has roared though many NC Triangle area clubs.

Their first CD The Never Ending Mending Story was released on Shiny Pants Records in December 2001 and is available for sale at their shows and from CDBaby.com.
