The September 11th tragedy occurred over 4 months ago, yet the feelings brought forth to our hearts will remain forever. Although things will never be exactly the same as before, there is a willingness, and a need, to go on. Americans now know that by coming together as a country, we can conquer any force that stands in the way of our freedom.
One way that people have eased their grief is through music. "The Heart of America" is a song that truly reflects the impact of 9-11 on our country and our world. Written by A & E Cohen, M. Shotton and M. Bovosak, this song is dedicated to the U.S. military as a "feel good" morally uplifting song.
Micheal Shotton has previously sung with Guns and Roses, Phil Collins, and Boston. He also performs with many symphonic orchestras during the Pop series such as the London Pops and the Toronto Symphony. He has been the voice behind numerous television commercials, including General Motors, Coke, Labatts, Fosters, and Coors. His hit "Habits of the Heart" still plays on AOR Radio.
Although a picture is worth a thousand words, a song about an event this tragic can be worth much more. The link to the song is shown below. Listen...
