djretina
djretina is in the mix and on the mic
In a 'new growth,' djretina has released the much anticipated follow up to his critically acclaimed solo debut 'underground opera.'
djretina brings some of his tightest tracks to date, banging beats and smooth lyrics.
There are some instant classics such as "world to know," where he expresses his opinions on US politics, the recording industry, and all the people he runs into in everyday life. Another track to look for is "flash flood" inspired by the events of september 11th.
Perhaps his finest effort comes in 'new growth,' the title track. Here, his personal lyrics about the crew he started with, strike a perfect chord with the rolling beat. Songs such as this, show what hip hop music is all about, and look toward a bright future. Perhaps djretina would say, toward a new growth.
His songs can be heard at audiogalaxy.com/bands/retina or by contacting him directly at:
djretina@hotmail.com
'new growth' is priced at $10- and selling fast. To get your copy, you need to go through him, either by email or on the streets of california.
Peace.
