Trying to change title, should be : 1890...Image walking hundreds of miles in the dead of winter. Women, children, elders, and warriors did this from North Dakota to South Dakota to the Pine Ridge Reservation. Hiding from the 7th Calavary, Only to reach home and be sluddered in the snow by the 7th calavary looking to avenge Custer. Not just the warriors but the women and babies also. This is what I see when I close my eyes. Do you want to see? |

Somebody Help Me This song was written to more or less ask for help from my people and the world in general. I am singing that one person cannot carry the
load of being the activist ( carry the heavy load). I am asking the people of the world to share with each other and not think of monetary property alone. I sing of
how they killed the buffalo. I sing of how in the end we will pay for our actions to grandmother earth.. I sing of how they have abused mother earth by mining,
pollution, etc… I also sing of how they are burning the rain forest and not replacing the resources. |
