Radnicka Klasa means Working Class. This is a Serbian punk/ rock band located
in Melbourne, Australia.
RK started as a cover band playing popular Yugoslav rock songs. Soon they
started writing original songs, and were sponsored by "92 BOOM
Promotion" to record a demo CD, but it was delayed due to the change of
their drummer. Finally, in April 2001, exactly after one year after they formed,
RK recorded the CD called "April 01". What a name!
The band is:
Dusan Bulovic- bass/ vocal
Marko Simovic- guitar/ vocal
Vlada Stanojevic- drums
"April 01" contained seven original tracks, one of which was in
english. It was recorded in Gatehouse recording studio, Yalourn, Australia, and
released in BOOM production. Many copies were handed out for free, sent accross
Australia and overseas. It was a great boost for the band, as they were invited
for gigs in Sydney, Adelaide and even, for the first time, for a non- serbian
concert. It was a benefit concert for Anarchy book shop in Melbourne, and they
also played live on 88AM radio station "Wave your freak flag".
In December 2002, we released our album "Istina" with 10 new originals.
The album featured a new drummer Damjan.
