In 1996, guitarist Nels Cline & bassist Devin Sarno recorded their first duet collaboration for the Los Angeles-based label Volvolo Records. The resulting music was released as the 12" vinyl-only LP "Rise Pumpkin Rise." The LP was limited to a few hundred copies & has long since been out-of-print. You can sample some tracks from the E.P. here (for the first time in digital format!)
