Like Jose Feliciano, Vikki is totally blind. She used to teach music at the St. Augustine School for the blind in Florida, the same school where Ray Charles learned his first music.

Sadly, for 15 years Vikki has hardly involved herself in music. I found some cassettes of simple recordings. Some tracks are Vikki and guitar rambling at home and some are recordings of a very soulful live jam. All tracks are recorded live on a basic cassette recorder and regular microphone with no dubbing and no studio toys - yet the beauty of Vikki's voice shines through so clearly.

Already, posting these tracks on MP3.com has raised Vikki's enthusiasm to create music again. Within a year we hope to produce a new wonderful new studio recording.
