Welcome to ART OF INFINITY - the ambient music project (www.art-of-infinity.com) Press release, 10-10-2003 Join ART OF INFINITY on their endless journey into space Three years have passed since ART OF INFINITYs debut album New Horizon, and it also took them three years to produce their new album Dimension Universe which will be launched by Atomic Pool Records / trance-shop.com 05 November 2003. Together with all in all 14 guest musicians and singers, Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and Thorsten Rentsch have recorded and produced their second album. This time we have had even higher expectations than with New Horizon. We have learned from all the experiences from the first album and also had the idea of using more guitar and drums, comments Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, who is responsible for ART OF INFINITYs lyrics and most of their compositions.
As in their first album, their new opus includes Eva Wolf (vocals), Matthias Krauss (keyboard, guitar) and Stefan Höllering (saxophone). This time, Klaus Major Heuser (ex BAP), possibly Germanys best guitarist, has joined ART OF INFINITY. Dimension Universe has been mixed in Majors Studio in Cologne by Thorsten Rentsch. With Antje Schulz (singer of Chandeen), Sibi Siebert on drums (ex Twelve Drummers Drumming) and Mario Agandona (ex Vocaleros) on percussion, the duo have been able to attract more excellent musicians for their Ambient Music Project. Thus the conceptually conceived album again sounds atmospheric and at times bombastic. With the 14-minute hymn Drift upon the Sky, the main song of the 8-track album, ART OF INFINITY have set themselves new standards and combine ambient, art rock, trance and world music into one unique style. Cosmic rain, sung by Antje Schulz, with its drum n bass rhythyms plays with the facets of pop. Supernova again has the Floydesque bombast and Trimelar Starflight, last song and second longtrack on the album, closes with powerful world singings by Eva Wolf. Dimension Universe, an album for infinity.
