Lost the Plot are a four-piece set from the
UK. They have been said to sound like Mogwai, Blur or Radiohead.
At times though, they have been said to remind people of
Slipknot, Korn and Coal Chamber. Fed up with all this genre crap,
Lost the Plot decided to just play whatever they felt, without
having to worry about being classed in a specific genre. They
aren't metal. They aren't indie. They aren't techno. They play
what could be called Heavy Indie, but at times have the haunting
sound of bands such as Mogwai and Godspeed You Black Emperor! and
the influence of dance acts such as Fatboy Slim and Massive
Attack.
Some songs are instrumental, but there are
some with vocals which can vary from clear to screaming. Don't
judge this band by one song; hear as much as possible, for hardly
any of the songs are of the same nature.
You wanna class Lost the Plot and place
them into a catagory? Call them a crossbreed, or incest between
genres. Or maybe they just lost the plot.
Many more songs are
going to be uploaded soon!

Big beats, heavy guitars, a complete crossgenre masterpiece. |

Another cross-genre, this song starts off quite beat-ish and ends up quite heavy. This song is most likely the next to be aired on radio. |
Credits: Thanks to Maria for the flute samples and John for the flanger effect we just couldn't find!! |

A demo of the song Glasgow. The quality is not that great on this song (microphone hiss etc) and it has been uploaded as a preview of the mastered version. |
