Enjoy my songs... And send me an instant message or 2!! All quotes are mine unless otherwise noted. All sounds found in the recordings are intentional no matter how 'bad' they may sound, this includes all clipping, popping, and all rinfendiggering as well. I'm glad you understand. Time to continue with the charade of my existence...
John & The Bohnert - Computer *Music(-!-)Noise* BigFun
The new album grpp will be released on mp3.com for purchase and download, including artwork, both digital and scanned. This is of course the second John & The Bohnert LP and it is very different from the previous releases. This time I'm actually doing more than one mix so that all the songs are good. Finetuning takes time but grpp will be out pretty soon. All the songs from grpp should be up soon so check back often!

"If one wishes to form a true estimate of the full grandeur of religion, one must keep in mind what it undertakes to do for men. It gives them information about the source and origin of the universe, it assures them of protection amid the changin vixissitudes of life, and it guides their thoughts and motions by means of precepts which are backed by the whole force of its authority."
-Sigmund Freud-
Come Over And See Me, pt. 1
If you care enough to come and visit we might fall in love
and if you care enough to come and visit I might survive the night
I'm living on hope
I'm living on you
I'm waiting for you
To come over and see me
So come on over
Dance with me
Let me smell your hair
Let me see you smile
You can touch my hand
If you're gone tomorrow I might not see you again
but if you care enough to say good-bye I should be ok
Tomorrow comes fast and so should you
Come down into my basement
Come down and dance with me
It'll be ok, I'll keep you safe
I'll hold you if you want
I won't mind
If you touch me I might miss you even more
and if kiss me I'll wish you could stay
But as long as you care enough to say good-bye
I should be ok
Come Over And See Me, pt. 2
The interior regions of my soul
are locked with combination lock
I can't remember the numbers for the life of me...
It might help if you come over and see me...
I need touch, I need to feel someone...
I need someone to feel me...
It might help if you come over and see me...
John & The Bohnert, the coexistence of two dissimilar traits in a singular entity.
Abstract unrealities and noise induced trauma. An array of sonic mayhem courtesy of fluctuating mental stabilities and the inability to join the conformity. Separation from all that is classifiable, the complete and unadulterated truth. A collaboration of between controlled and uncontrollable forces resulting in a withered resemblance of what was, what is, and what will be. Forever fearful of categories and narcotics while waiting patiently for an excuse to escape, a never stagnant example of a waste of time or a pathetic daydream. A restless and compulsive diagram drawn by a child out of boredom with no regard for proportion or perspective that creates familiarity laced with apathy and unease. A worthless attempt to satiate a problematic wanderlust brought on by the resistance to change and the desire for an improved universe, free of those everyday anomalies that plague its sentient inhabitants. A reaction to the perpetual aleatoric shifting, of specific and generalized situations, that erodes the solidity of the soul and creates craters in lives where mountains once stood. John & The Bohnert, something and nothing and everything all at once but never truly anything.
