Live solo performance at the fabulous Oslo, Norway concert venue, Jazid. I started the concert quietly, to lull the audience into thinking they were safe in chill-out territory... The old, half out-of-tune upright piano shook and literally got pushed around as I experimented with timbres, using sheets of paper, wooden and metal rods, drumsticks... |

Now, the piano began to shake and literally get pushed around as I surprise the audience with my use of different objects inserted into the astonished old upright - sheets of paper, metal and wooden bars, and hit the strings with drum sticks. I was awarded with spontaneous applause. |

The audience had run the gamut of emotions, from hard-core rythmic piano-bashing, to tender, whispering melodic sections.
In this final excerpt, I return to a key-based anthem. Remember, all of this is improvised. None of the concert was premeditated. |
