SEPTEMBER DAY
No greater love, has ever been
to lay ones life for a friend.
Unknowing pain, unselfishly,
I'm proud to say they are a part of me.
To see beyound the present tense.
We gain some strength from those we miss.
Their hopes and dreams are washed away,
I won't forget this September Day.
So when it all comes down to this,
let us count them one by one.
Least we forget those who scrifice their blood.
On this September Day the world may never know,
the cost of freedom, the courage bestowed.
On this September Day we're stronger than before.
Our faith it stirs us to vanquish our foes.
On this September Day we fall on our knees.
His strength will guide us against the enemy.
In times like these.
This is our song, this is our plea,
that day will come when all are free.
The strife will end, let the healing begin,
no more blood on this barren land.
To comprehend or understand,
Your ways O God are higher than;
the earth and sky the land and sea.
Oh help us God in times like these.
