Back in the acoustic shows days, this song quickly became the most requested song at Duffer shows before it was ever officially released. A testament to the pure catchiness and harmonica-driven melodic malaise this jam creates. Experience for yourself. |

This is C-squared's favorite song ever to come from my brain and E-rock's personal favorite as well. Judge for yourself, but these two rock critics hold heavy weight with me. |

this song has been regarded as the most popular "single" from this album. its catchy, bar band-esque sound will captivate you and have you singing along in no time. |

A fan favorite, featuring guest appearances from Miniko's DM Sheen and Designated Johnny's Scott Dezendorf. A new direction for the Duff, but an easy listen, perhaps sweet ear candy? I've always hated that term...who wants candy for their ear? Disgusto. But the song is still one of our best and was the final Duffer song ever played at our farewell concert. |

Thanks to WRBB in Boston, this song has slipped onto the radio. I played an acoustic set on their station recently and concluded with this song. The title should read "Looking in from the Outside onto the Inside of the Life of a Seemingly Flawless Man" and this is is a little bluesy song, and the only solo project song thus far that I've allowed bass guitar and drum sounds onto. |

The most rocking track on our new album. Written in the early morning hours of July 5, 2002 (listen to Don't Speak Japanese and you'll know the significance of that date), this song was really formed through the demo sessions in which the lyrics and chorus were significantly changed and improved. The chorus of this song also features a five-part harmony if you listen closely for it. |

A softer side of Duffer with a catchy little chorus (Hey, hey, hey, hey) and some rocking chords. The ladies love it. |

All my song titles are getting cut off...this one is called "A Picture Perfect Reflection On Youth and Serenity" and the white pianos one is called "The White Pianos that Remain Trapped in the Houses of the Rich as Show Pieces (A Rescue Mission is in the Works)" |

You know, this song was on our first full-length, Everything Up in Flames, but we were never satisfied with that version. It just was missing something. So this is the only song we've ever a lot a mulligan on. But it was worth it, in my opinion. The song is now a lot more textured, and has personality and strength (and a sweeeet 12-string Jimmy solo) that the other version lacked. |

This was the first song written for the new album that stuck around long enough to be considered. If it shows traces of Everything Up in Flames, you know why. |

A funny little dance number that features a theremin-induced breakdown and freakout. Worth a listen or two. |

Warning: this song has been known to cause a teary eye or two. Oh, leaving the town you have called a home and the people you have called friends, what an experience. |
