I really like the sound i got with this song and listen to it a lot. Recorded october 2001. 140bpm. Heavily processed stab hit runs throughout song with long filtered synth pad underneath. I orignially had a drumloop as the precussion, built other drum sounds up around it and then took it out of the song. I really like the sound of the ride cymbals. Most of the instruements in the song are continuely modulated, changing in timbre, etc which gives the song a lot of movement. I made this song using only my computer. |

I like to listen to this song a lot aswell. Recorded Novemeber 2000. 120bpm. I made the this song by sampling and editing chords i played of my now broken DX7 synth and layering them above and below each other and modulating filters over them. I was amazed at the complexity, variation and emotion in sound that occured over time from such a simple thing. I called the song brazil as i originally made the song with a brazilian carnival style drum pattern and then got rid of all the the other drums to just leave one of the low ptich ones. The song slowly bulids and changes over its duration. |

I find this song very relaxing to listen to. It has minimal changes in it. Recorded decemeber 2000. 120bpm. The song again uses the sampling of the DX7 for the chords. It wasn't unitl i sampled the DX7 and effected it that i realised how nice it could sound. Until then i hadnt used any sounds off it in songs as it had been bought by my brother as a cheap controller. Also in this song i like the way the hat samples sound, aswell as a little drum click that is from a loop i origonally cut up to make another song. |
