The tune name is "Ein' Fests Burg" from 1529 attributed to none other than Martin Luther. Some say that he adopted the tune from a familiar drinking song of the era. This is my adaptation for classical guitar. |

This traditional French melody was composed in the 17th century. The name of the tune is 'Picardy' and it has been a communion favorite for centuries. The somewhat surreal words were paraphrased by Gerard Moultrie in 1864. "Let all mortal flesh keep silence, and with fear and trembling stand..." |
