A simple but (I think) beautiful piece based off an improvised lead I made with very prevalent Pink Floyd, Agalloch, and (to some extent) Robert Fripp influences. Although I don't claim to be able to play half as well as the aforementioned bands/people... All music written by Andrew Shih. All guitars played by Andrew Shih. All piano programmed by Andrew Shih (yes I was too lazy to pull out the piano to play 4 chords...so sue me). 08/02

This is my first collaboration and technically isn't a real Eisengrim song. Around a year ago, I met a young promising guitar player by the name of Kris Ousen on a message board. Myself being a fan of his work (and hopefully vice-versa), we decided to write this song on a complete whim. This song was written in one night without anything being discussed before the writing process. We decided not to record since it would be way too difficult to send recorded parts over the internet and having one person record/mix it wouldn't be fair. All music written and programmed by Kris Ousen and Andrew Shih. Lead breaks written by Shih/Ousen/Shih. 06/2002

The MIDI version of this song that is technically perfect but has that awful processed MIDI tone. There's much more emphasis on piano, dissonance, and just plain experimentation is this compared to past works. Special thanks to Allan VanderLaan for all the countless hours of listening and advice. All music and programming done by Andrew Shih. 08/02
