    - DELVIC - Fans of Isis, ...Trail of the Dead, and Helmet style heavy rock take note. There is a new sheriff in town and his name is DELVIC! Feeding off of passionate vocals that range from muttered whispers to heartfelt screams the audio backdrop to DELVIC is anything but average. Thick grooves and floating melodies drive the songs on "a product for consumers" along a path of intense emotion. Solid song structures and hooks make this more than another cd. It's like a great book...once you put it on, you don't ever want to turn it off.

    - THE PLAGUE - Another full on metallic attack from Devils Head! Fans of thrash, swedish style metal and speedmetal will find these songs laced with energy. Ultra mean, hissed vocals over tight guitars solo's and mosh. The cd is a must have! Bringing thrash metal into the new mellenium!

    - THE ACACIA STRAIN - A blend of progressive metal, noise, and hardcore. With 3 guitars, 1 bass, 1 vocalist, and a drummer...this is not your everyday band. Technical heaviness from the Northeast that's heavily influenced by Coalesce and Dillinger Escape Plan. Strained low end growls and utterly massive repetition with all of the grooves going on, before busting out into parts that are much faster, chaotic, and metallic. Plus there are some killer breakdowns on here as well. Ten tracks that take you places you've only feared before.

    - FLATLINED - HERE IS WHAT PAHARDCORE.COM HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE ADVANCED COPY THEY GOT "This CD can not be pigeonholed, no matter how hard I tried. I have to say this is one of the most origional new bands I've heard in a long time. Imagine mixing Darkest Hour, Brutal Metalcore, sick breakdowns, and power metal into the same song - this is what you would get. Their song structures vary from gothenburg metal riffs to punishing breakdowns that leave you devastated. There is even several wicked guitar solos. The vocals are at times a low bellow, at others a high pitched scream. The guy definetly has his range goin on. All in all, I can see these guys getting signed to a big label if they are ever discovered. Their talent makes them worthy of more recognition but I suppose time will tell what happens to these guys. I wish them luck and say congrats on an AWESOME release."

We are under contract with Japan to not let these get over there so we can only accept orders from the USA and Europe to insure this. $18.00 ppd in the USA. Devils Head Recordings number eleven.

    - SWEATPANT BONERS - Devils Head Records enters a new realm with this release...the realm of pure comic genius! This album features the talents of Unearth, AFTeRSHOCK, and Killswitch Engage, and one COMIC PSYCHO! The SPB's sounds just like NONE OF THESE BANDS! Instead, SPB's crank out songs that range from a mixture of rock and punk, a mixture of rock and metal, and a mixture of rock and folk. The common thread that holds all these songs together...tasteless humor! The key to the band is frontman "Robbie Roadsteamer" and his brilliant personality. This is a must have for anyone who finds themselves down in the dumps at times. Put this on and you CANNOT HELP BUT LAUGH OUT LOUD AND ROLL ON THE FLOOR! The most entertaining cd you'll buy all year!

    - LOYAL TO THE GRAVE - This Japanese band plays metallic hardcore with lots of double bass parts and super heavy "chug". Throaty vocals and driving riffs lead some to say it reminds them a bit of All Out War or Hatebreed, but without the severe tough-guy overtones. The band also features current members of Japanese favorites, State Craft. Moshcore, Japan style!

    - AT WAR WITH SHADOWS - At War With Shadows have a blazing metal sound with sick vocals. Occassional hints of Swedish metal, Slayer, & melody mixed amongst all of the crunch. The breakdowns on this are very reminiscent of Overcast. Heavy, blistering metalcore.

    - LARIAT - This upstate NY band rock with their full-length debut. Not your typical metalcore band - they have a crustier, dirtier feel with harsh, ugly vocals, political lyrics, and songs that mix up frantic metal with straightforward brutality. All the song lyrics have accompaning explanation. This disc put these boys on the hardcore map. If you like heavy (real heavy) metalcore with more punch than the Kool-Aid man...GET THIS DISC!

    - NOTHING STAYS GOLD - Nothing Stays Gold was Rhode Island's pioneer band in the catergory of "emo deathmetal". Yes, you heard me correctly. Featuring Jesse Leech [former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE] on vocals and Joe Cantrell ripping up the guitar (both of Corrin), NSG picks up where Corrin left off with a unique twist. Imagine the strength, power, and brutality of Corrin mixed with the energy and talent of Tool, with a dash of the Get Up Kids emotion. There you have it, Nothing Stays Gold. A band that changed hardcore.
