Yestreday, October 25th, was marked the Wellstone World Music Day, dedicated to senator Paul Wellstone and his wife, who have died in a plane crash October 25th last year. We've been asked to dedicate our show of that day to the Wellstone World Music Day and having no shows as of yet, we've decided to write a song especially for that day and put it here, but due to scheduling problems, we were unable to do that, or even post this message in time. So we're dedicating "Need", which has been here for a while, to Paul Wellstone, and to the Wellstone World Music Day. "All we need is a ray of light that shines through the mist and carries us home," seems appropriate for us for a day in which all of Minnesota, and possibly all of the world, collaborated in dedicating but one song, if not many, to the spirit of Paul Wellstone.
Please go to www.wellstoneworldmusicday.com to find out more about the purpose of that day, and other activities by Wellstone Action. |

The third song from the first Marching Band album, "Songsmithereens", has been recorded in two versions. Both appear on what is now known as "The Yellow Tape", which is a combined album and single package containing all of the album tracks and the three remaining tracks on the "Your Favourite Disguise" single. This is the first, slower version, which appears on the album, and again - apologies for the sound quality. |
