The Jesus Crusades are a part of a prophetic five-fold ministry, Anointed by the Holy Ghost to WAKE UP the Body of Christ. The Jesus Crusades began in 1983, as a heart cry from Bro. Orand. Orand desiring to be a part of a ministry whose primary purpose was to expose the name and nature of Jesus to a lost, sick and dying world! Although Bro Orand has preached in many churches, conferences as keynote speaker throughout America, and hosted his own tv program for almost nine years in Houston, TX, he loves the liberty of the Spirit of God that is experienced in/under the 'big gospel tent.' He learned early in the ministry that "a building does not a pastor make," for he found throughout the land of America, sheep (people) of God's flock scattered, hurt and church- homeless. It has been to these, that the Jesus Crusades has focused the past years, and to whom Bro. Orand taught through his words and actions, how a true pastor should love God's people. The Crusades primary purpose is to se e the restoration of the kingdom of God in all that will believe on the Lord. The Jesus Crusades are designed to work with the local churches to see all believers come into the unity of the faith, as the Scripture says. This ministry is a sign - gifted ministry, set in the earth, to help establish the Truth of the five-fold ministry, which is 'the Hand of God'.
