This web site consists of rearrangements, mostly
electronic, of various classical works.
My current project list consists of
rearrangements of early works composed for
keyboards.
Other than these classical arrangements, you can
also find my folk/progressive rock group
Gravity's Rainbow here on mp3.com.
I've been asked why I rearrange classical pieces.
There are several reasons that I can think of.
First, I listened to Carlos and Tomita when I was
younger and thought they sounded great. Second,
I like classical music, especially the older
stuff. But I don't have the chops to really make
them shine And I don't own a harpsichord. So I
rearrange them so that I can play them and so
that I can make the inner voices shine out. When
I play them live, I tend to loose the inner
voices and I spend a long time attempting to
learn a single piece.
I'm sure that there are other reasons I do
this, but this will do for the time being.
Feel free to contact me. Most responses will be
on the Live Events section of this page,
so look there to see what people have written
recently. I usually add notes on how I realized
the pieces as detailed information for each of
the pieces.
