The Guardian Classic!!! - this is perhaps the only song that Guardian always played every show. One of the great acoustic rock ballads of this era. Jamie auditioned for the band with this song in 1990.
Peter Gunn amidst Y2K frenzy. Producer Steve Taylor said he wanted this song played at his funeral. (no death wish here...that's just how much he liked the tune when we were cutting it!)
The rare hit that NEVER appeared on an official Guardian album but now appears on the rare bootleg SUNDAY BEST. Tony and Dave wrote this country blues stomp while talking on the phone. A live version of this song also appears on Larry Howard's Cornerstone Blues Jam album.
The super rare Guardian track! - this was an outake from the Swing Swang Swung sessions. That's David & Karl hamming it up on on this country bluegrass send-up. This one features a rare step-out from David on guitar. Yee-Haw!
Miracle Mile Baby! This is one of the David Bach penned gems from Guardian's early 90's heyday. A little known fact is that bassist Bach penned most of his tunes on acoustic guitar in open tunings - either open G or E. (kids-don't try this at home!)
Guardian's first #1 radio hit (1990)....from the new disc "Sunday Best" - the only "band approved" greatest hits compilation. Available Sept. 7th! Only 1000 CD's will be printed!
Classic Hard Rock from Guardian at their blues rock swaggering best. Recorded live during the Australian tour 1994. Only 1000 copies of this classic bootleg were ever pressed! Final copies of this extremely rare gem can be purchased through the official Guardian website: www.guard-dog.com
