"The STUNNING track by Annie Johnson chosen for inclusion on "Einstein's Pad" is "AnythingGoes". This has to be one of the most accomplished all round songs I've heard on mp3.com so far. It's a MUST hear. Annie's beautiful vocal is SO close it could be in the room with you. FANTASTIC production really bring out the best in this wonderful song. The musician's accompanying her are also TOP NOTCH. If ever there was a song close to perfection for me, THIS IS IT !! Absolutely flawless. Love the little Spanish guitar breaks. I'm sure you'll agree, it doesn't get much better than this. "

REVIEW BY AURORA K: The atmosphere on this song is really awesome. It's a memorable song that rolls you very smoothly "into the pain" no matter what. And you don't even want to resist the pull!! Annie really rocks with the vocals, as well. This is another prime example of why I hardly ever listen to the real radio at home nowadays - the music on Mp3.com is SO MUCH BETTER! REVIEW BY MORGAN LANE: Into the Pain is a very hypnotic song with a great drum beat. Annie's vocals and harmonies are very pretty, Add that with her edgy lyrics and you have a Great Song! "Alice in chains as if it were actually sung by Alice. great alt/indie rock with big guitars and huge vocals." Quoted from the Chick Rock MP3.com station. |

"MUST HAVE SONG. Annie Johnson is an artist making a name for herself. Her style and vocals make this song worth having." Quoted from Mp3.com's Catacombs of goth by Kaershieca radio station. "It might be presumptuous to leap to conclusions based on only 3 tracks, but it appears that Annie Johnson can excel at just about any genre she puts her mind to. Her other two tracks are a little more mainstream, so I'm going with the more eclectic Goth track. Featuring some really fine harmony singing against a stark background, it may not be entirely clear why this is in the goth genre until you read the lyrics (although the title might give you a clue). It is a simple, but effective piece that highlights Annie's wonderful voice to good effect." Quoted from the Eclectic Connection MP3.com station.
