This cannot be taught, but rather it appears suddenly…..’ Jennifer Rose Barnshaw is a special talent. She is not a music industry guru. She’s not a pop song composer. She’s a virtuoso waiting to be discovered. Having taken up piano at the early age of six, Jennifer left her lessons at seven to teach herself and tread her own path. Her piano is the outlet of her creativity and this first recording is proof that this creativity makes her one of Australia’s finest composers. Jennifer recorded “My Themes, My Dreams” at Newmarket studios to satisfy friends and family who had marvelled at her talents. The recording shows her proficiency at composition, subtlety and creating themes that would sit well as movie and television synchro pieces as well as stand-alone recordings. Jennifer is looking to take the leap to the next level and find a publisher and recording company who can exploit her talents and take her music to the world. With no formal piano or musical training, it is an unbelieveable talent and a testament to the determination and love that Jennifer has for the piano and her compositions.
