Combining smooth beats and basslines with great upper-range sonics, Café du MIDI is spear-heading a new wave of pornographically laidback grooves. Music for driving? Music for everything!

Café du MIDI is named after just about every coffee house in France. We just love that freshly roasted coffee and those croissants! CDM is Simen Fjeld and Jørgen Kirksæther.

Simen comes from the jazzier side of the street, starting off playing funk, soul and jazz in the 80ties, he has come a long way to today's credited work as a songwriter and creative producer. His current work ranges from pop production to electronic music, all with a strong latin flavour.

Jørgen has a strange and diverse background, from country and dub to skatepunk, EBM and breaks. He records techstep DrumNBass, Dub, Electro and Breakbeat as Drip, Bitwise, Frøken Detektiv and Alan Falk. CDM is an amalgamation of two weirdly contrasting backgrounds, resulting in the smoothest of grooves and the classiest of laidback beats.
