Million Dollar Movie, featuring Singer/Songwriter and actress Rebecca
Blasband (MTv's the Real World), has been called a soundtrack influenced electronic trio that brings the listener
back to the days when music blended styles and influences without shame. M$M
mixes the hip hop sounds of producers John Wuopeo
and David Simon Baker – otherwise known as
the Ill Team or ITC- with the lyrical White Album-esque melodic styles. Marrying
acoustic instruments with electronic grooves and sounds, they came up with their
own mellifluous, unique jam. Glued together with a smooth female vocal, one
would be inspired to think of what Blondie would do if it were formed today.

kind of scary.Million Dollar Movie uses quirky intelligent use of cinematic
influence to guide them. Psychically in tune with Kubrick films, Blade Runner,
James Bond, Sam Peckinpaw/ Steve MacQueen and even Star Wars, MDM uses the feel
of cinema in their sound and style without being simply a soundtrack vessel.
