Matt Hoffman has been writing music
for far too long.
Well, ok so he's only 20, but still, 17+ years is a long time.
I was one of those kids who would sit
at the piano all day and
make sounds come out. My friends would be out playing hide
and go seek or Zelda or throw-the-water-balloon-at-the-ice
cream-man-and-make-him-swear and I'd be happy inside plunking
the ivories until my mom would finally snap and make me go
join the other kids.
But yeah, so lots of music. I even did
a Christmas
album with my
parents and it is well-loved, or so I am told. Janice Kapp Perry
has said
of the CD, "I've never heard a Christmas album I loved as
much at first
hearing. I played it all through the season and even after. Both
my sons,
Steve and John, love it as much as I do. Matt's work is amazing!"
Now that's a quote I really appreciate, coming from talented people
that I really love and respect.
Soon the Christmas CD will be available
here on mp3.com but in the
meantime, give a listen to the other songs here which will end
up on
an as-yet-untitled CD project in the near future.
