The project started in the early fall of 1999.So desperate to find good musicians ( cause in saguenay its hard to find some dark individuals)I wanted to do Archevil by my self but under a diffrent name and the first album would have been called "Alone" so you can figure out my state of mind at that very time.
That year, Halloween night was the beginning of an association which i'm sure it's gonna last a long time.A friend of mine told me that a guy he knows wanted to get involved in a side-project(Nepton is in Divinity for a year and a half then and even now).So Stevetold me also that Divinity is doing a show Oct. 31st (with Winter Of Black Skies and Darksouls(rip)).He added that he talked about my project to him and the guy was interessed.I went there, an hour and a half early and all the gates were closed so I headed around the building and blunted a bit and went back.I knocked on the steel door and a guy look at me and said:Yeah? -is nef there? it was him so we talked about the project and he was all ears(cause what I have in mind differs alot compared to Divinity).
Since then nothing much happend until last new year's day I met a cosin and he told me he's a drummer so I asked him to play for us and he agreed right away.A month or so later his mother gave me an idea we needed a bassman and she told me to ask another of my relatives to join us .So I called Stéphane and he accept the invitation.We had a vocal but for some reasons he stopped jamming with us. A few weeks later Satyr joins the band as main throat.
